Final mile delivery, install and white glove

Freight gets your product to a warehouse. Final mile gets it into the room, unboxed, assembled, and with the packaging taken away.

Final mile: item delivered and installed in a lobby

What final mile covers

For a retailer or a dealer, the delivery is the only part of the transaction the customer physically experiences. It is worth doing properly.

Receive and hold

Freight received at our dock, inspected against the packing list and held until the delivery date.

Room of choice

Not a curbside drop. The item goes to the room it is meant for, upstairs if that is where it lives.

Assembly and install

Unboxed, assembled, levelled and positioned, then wiped down and checked with the customer.

Packaging removed

Cardboard, foam and pallets leave with us. The customer does not inherit your packaging.

Scheduled windows

The customer books a window and gets a call ahead, which is most of what a good delivery experience actually is.

Proof of delivery

Signed, with photos, back to you the same day. Damage claims are then a matter of record.

How final mile runs

We receive it

Freight in at our dock, checked against the packing list and logged.

Customer books a window

Scheduled directly with them, with a call ahead on the day.

Deliver and install

Into the room, unboxed, assembled and positioned, with the packaging removed.

Proof back to you

Signature and photos the same day, so your record is complete.

Final mile questions

Standard delivery ends at the threshold. Final mile ends with the product installed in the room, assembled, and the packaging gone. For a heavy or high value item, that gap is the entire customer experience.

Yes. We receive freight at our dock, check it against your packing list and hold it until the customer's date, which is usually what makes a scheduled window possible at all.

Across the valley routinely, and elsewhere in Idaho on a scheduled route. Tell us the volume and the geography and we will tell you plainly what is efficient and what is not.

We inspect on receipt at our dock rather than on the customer's doorstep, so most freight damage is caught before it ever gets scheduled. That is the main reason to have a receiving step at all.
