If it needs more than four hands, a board or a crate, tell us on the quote form. Discovering it on the day is what turns a good move into a bad one.
Pianos
Uprights on a piano board and skid, grands legged down and boxed. Tuning is a separate trade and we will say so.
Gun safes
Weight, stair count and floor type decide the plan. Anything over about 600 pounds gets its own equipment and crew.
Pool and billiard tables
Disassembled, slate separated and padded, then reassembled and levelled at the other end.
Fine art and antiques
Mirror cartons for framed work, custom crates for anything valuable, glass faced pieces taped and corner protected.
Stone and glass tops
Marble, granite and glass travel vertically in a built crate. Laid flat they crack on the first bad road.
Appliances and equipment
Treadmills, kilns, tool chests and anything else in a garage that is heavier than it looks.

On the quote form, with a photo if you can. Weight and access decide everything that follows.
Plan the route
We measure doorways, turns and stairs before the day, so the crew is not solving it on the landing.
Crate or board it
The right equipment for the item: a piano board, a stair climber, a built crate or a mirror carton.
Place it once
Heavy items get set down where they are staying. We agree the spot before it comes off the truck.
