You rented the truck or the container. We bring the crew, the pads, the straps and the dollies, and load it properly.

Labor only: crew loading a rental truck

What labor only covers

Hourly, with a two hour minimum. You keep control of the vehicle and the schedule, and you skip the part of a move that hurts backs.

Rental trucks

U-Haul, Penske, Budget and the rest. We load them the way they should be loaded, tight and decked to the roof.

Portable containers

PODS, U-Box, PACK-RAT and similar. Loading a container badly is how things break in transit.

Storage units

Loading in, unloading out, or reorganising a unit you can no longer walk into.

In-home moves

Furniture between floors, a room reshuffle, or getting a sofa out before the new one arrives.

Pads and straps included

The crew brings blankets, shrink wrap, straps and dollies. You do not need to rent them separately.

Disassembly

Beds and tables taken apart so they fit, and put back together at the other end if we are on both ends.

Book the window

Two hour minimum. Rental trucks run late, so book the crew after your pickup time, not before.

We load it right

Heavy on the floor, wrapped, decked to the ceiling and strapped in tiers so it does not shift.

Two movers covers most jobs; three is faster on stairs.

Hours booked

Two hour minimum, then billed by the half hour.

Access

Stairs, elevators and long carries all cost time.

Weekends and month ends fill first.

Labor only questions

Do you drive the rental truck?

No. On a labor only job you drive, because the rental agreement and its insurance are in your name. If you would rather not drive it, book a local move instead and we will bring our own truck.

Are my things covered on a labor only job?

Our liability covers our handling. It does not extend to the vehicle, the road or how the load rides once you drive away, because those are outside our control. That is the real trade you are making for the lower price.

What is the minimum booking?

Two hours of crew time, then billed by the half hour after that.

Can you load a container that is already on my driveway?

Yes, and containers are worth loading properly. They get lifted, trucked and set down again, so anything loose inside moves.
