A zone labelling plan
Every desk, chair and crate carries a code that maps to a numbered position on the new floor plan. Nobody guesses on the night.
Crate rental
Reusable crates delivered a week early so staff pack their own desks, then collected after the reinstall.
Out of hours
Evenings and weekends, so nobody loses a working day. Friday evening to Sunday afternoon is the usual shape.
Furniture reinstall
Desks, benching and storage taken apart, moved and rebuilt in position rather than left in a stack.
Building protection
Floor protection, lift padding and door jamb covers at both ends, plus certificates of insurance for both landlords.
One coordinator
One person you call, on site for the move itself, from the first walkthrough to the last box collected.
How an office move runs
Survey both sites
Headcount, furniture inventory, lift sizes, dock access and the building rules at each end.
Build the plan
A numbered floor plan, a zone labelling scheme and a sequence, agreed before crates arrive.
Crates out early
Delivered a week ahead with labels, so staff pack their own desks during the working week.
Move and rebuild
Out of hours: disconnect, move, rebuild and reconnect, so Monday morning is a normal morning.
What an office move price is built from
Commercial moves are quoted per project, not by the hour, once we have seen both sites.
